Snrnews.com, TNI AL, Bintan,- Commander of Lanal Bintan, Lieutenant Colonel (P) Wityuda Timortimur Suratmono, MPM., along with all Lanal Bintan personnel attended the Special Roll Call for the Briefing of the Commander of the Indonesian Fleet Command, Vice Admiral TNI Dr. Denih Hendrata, SE, MM, CHRMP., via video conference in the Lounge Room of Mako Lanal Bintan, Monday (05/01/2026).
This activity was also attended by all ranks of the Indonesian Fleet Command, Regional Commands I–XIV, and all fleets under the auspices of the Indonesian Fleet Command.
In his directive, the Commander of the Indonesian Fleet Command emphasized that 2026 would be a crucial year for strengthening the operational readiness and professionalism of the Indonesian Fleet Command as the vanguard of national maritime defense. He highlighted key achievements in 2025, such as security efforts that saved more than 24.96 million lives and prevented state losses of up to 15.107 trillion rupiah. Furthermore, the Indonesian Fleet Command contributed to overseeing the use of renewable energy and ensuring national food security.
The Commander of the Indonesian Fleet Command emphasized the need to improve operational readiness, strengthen command and control, discipline, and enhance troop professionalism, as well as adapt to technological developments and cyber threats. Collaboration with all stakeholders was requested to be strengthened to support national strategic objectives.
This activity is a form of Lanal Bintan’s commitment to implementing the strategic direction of the Indonesian Navy leadership and helping to maintain the country’s maritime integrity.
